Abstract

Quark-antiquark bound states are described with the help of the Bethe-Salpeter equation for a special Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model at finite temperature and baryon number density. The decomposition of the Bethe-Salpeter vertex functionsaccording to their Lorentzs tructures and the particle flavour content are used. As an application we determine the mass of low-lying mesons as a function of temperature and baryon number density.
