Abstract

This paper provides social work supervisors with a model in which to evaluate supervisees. The model suggests four major functions that social workers perform in most clinical settings. The function of discharge planning is selected as a primary focus in this paper. A monitoring form is suggested, as well as a job description, that integrate this function for evlauation purposes. The importance of quality assurance monitoring is emphasized as a consistent theme.
