Abstract

A potentiometric titration vessel of pyrolytic graphite is described for use in microtitrations, which are usually performed with colored indicators. The vessel also serves simultaneously as the indicator electrode, the reference electrode being an in-burette platinum wire. Thus, the need for internal electrodes is eliminated. The vessel has been used satisfactorily in both manual and automatic titrations.
