Abstract
Pb1.05-x Lax Ti1-x /4O3 (x=0–0.2) thin films were obtained by the screen printing method on Au bottom electrodes using Si(100) substrates at the annealing temperature of 600° C. The screen-printable pastes were synthesized from Pb–Ti–La complex alkoxide and abietic acid. The remanent polarization and coercive field of this thin film decreased with increasing La content. The maximum pyroelectric coefficient of 1.07×10-8 C/(cm2·K) was obtained at x=0.1 after poling. The diffusion of (Pb, La)TiO3 to the Au electrode and that to Pt electrodes was on the same level, therefore Au electrodes can be prepared by screen printing for practical use of these films at a low cost.
