Abstract
Pyridazine and C-alkylpyridazines were found to yield M-ethoxycarbonyl-l,2-dihydropyridazines 1 - 6 when subjected to conditions of homolytic ethoxycarbonylation. This is the first example of an attack of a radical at the nitrogen atom of a N-heteroarene in Minisci-type reactions.
