Abstract

Effects of white-rot fungus BYBF treatment on properties of papermaking wastewater were investigated. The optimal immobilized conditions were the PVA 5%, SA 2.3%, active carbon 2%, 2% CaCl2 in saturated boric acid solution and pH = 7. Using these materials to form immobilized beads, which have great mechanical strength and big specific surfaces. Using these beads to immobilized BYBF to treating terminal wastewater. COD decreased from 411mg /l to 352mg/l in 4 days.
