Abstract
The mass spectrum of the \( 2^{3}S_{1}\) meson is phenomenologically investigated in the framework of Regge phenomenology and mass mixing matrix. The mass of the isodoublet member is determined to be 1577.6 MeV, which is in agreement with other theoretical predictions. We suggest that the assignment of this state needs to be further tested in experiments in the future. Also, the charmed and charmed-strange members masses are estimated in the present work. These results may be useful for the identification of the \( 2^{3}S_{1}\) meson multiplet. As a byproduct, the mass of the lowest-lying \( 1^{--}\) glueball is predicted to be in the mass range 3.12-3.74 GeV in the glueball dominance picture, which is consistent with the values from lattice QCD and potential models.
