Abstract
Bacteriaaremicro-andnanoorganismsthatspatiallycolonizetheplantorganismandcomprisevarioustypesofinteractionswiththehostrangingfrompathogenictomutualisticandsymbiotic.Thepresenceoftheseexo-andendosymbiontsmayaffecttheplanthostphysiology.Non-pathogenicbacteriacanenhancedefensivecapacityinplantsthatprovidesprotectionagainstphytopathogensandherbivores,aswellasmakesavaluablecontributionto the protection of plants from abiotic stressors. Endophytes demonstrate the protection of photosystem inplants under environmental challenges. The putative mechanisms of bacterial effects on plant photosystem arediscussed in this paper.Keywords: bacteria, photosystem, abiotic and biotic stresses.
