Abstract

Question: A 51-year-old male who has unremarkable past medical history who presented to the emergency department with complaints of blisters that started 2 months prior to presentation. He described them as painful blisters. The patient is homeless, and he had significant exposure to the sun. The patient denied any fever, chills, change in bowel movements, or jaundice. Physical examination showed that he had multiple skin lesions on his both hands with multiple blisters and scars. The largest blister was about 1 x 1 cm on the dorsal aspect of his right hand as shown in Figure A.
