Abstract

This paper investigates the problem of spacecraft interception game with incomplete-information and proposes switching strategies based on the differential game theory. In the interception process, the target can switch among multiple strategies to evade the interceptor. This leads to the formulation of switching strategies pursuit problem for the interceptor. Firstly, in the complete-information scenario, the game switching strategies are derived to match target different strategies. Then, for the scenario where the target information is not available to the interceptor, the interacting multiple model approach, combined with the mode-matched smooth variable sliding filters, is proposed to estimate target unknown information. After obtaining the incomplete information, the estimation-dependent interception idea is incorporated into the game without the target switching strategies. Finally, simulations are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed switching strategies scheme. The numerical simulations indicate that the target information can be estimated effectively using the interacting multiple mode approach, and the well interception performance can be achieved.
