Abstract
1. 1. Liver phosphofructokinase has been purified from normal and obese mice to a final specific activity of 50–70 units/mg. No difference between the specific activity of the enzyme from either type of mouse was observed. 2. 2. The regulatory properties of the purified enzyme was examined. No physiologically relevant differences in inhibition by ATP or citrate or activation by AMP were noted between normal and obese mice.
