Abstract
A method of purification of the commercially available β-hydroxyoxime extractants for copper is described. The use of non-aqueous titration procedures for analysis of hydroxyoximes is examined, and values of equilibrium constants for the hydroxyoxime-proton systems in semi-aqueous and aqueous media are calculated.
