Abstract
Pure rotational transitions ( J=1←0) in allene- d 4 have been observed for the degenerate vibrational states (ν 10 = 1) and (ν 11 = 1) with a pulsed microwave Fourier transform spectrometer. The assignments have been confirmed by microwave-microwave double resonance. Both double-resonance experiments and Stark effect measurements have been used to determine the magnitude of the vibrationally induced dipole moments. For each vibrational state, the rotational constant B has been improved.
