Abstract

Pulmonary infection of Rhodococcus equi among HIV and hepatitis C virus co-infected patients can cause lesions similar to those seen in Pancoast tumour – based on radiography and lung tomography. To our knowledge this is the first described case of imitation of Pancoast tumour in an HIV-infected patient with pulmonary rhodococcosis.
