Abstract

Although primary heart tumors or metastases to the heart are considered a rare clinical finding, autopsy studies have shown that they might not be a rare manifestation of a disseminated cancer. The present paper reports on a case with right ventricular endocardial metastases from an angiosarcoma in the thyroid gland mimicking massive pulmonary embolism.
