Summaries are given of papers of the Library and Information Literature Membership Initiative Group (LIL'MIG) at the 1982 American Library Association Conference in Philadelphia. Matters dealt with include: reasons for publishing, the mechanics of getting published, editing and refereeing and author-publisher protocol.
