Abstract
The UK’s pursuit of public value has been associated with its membership of the European Union (EU). This has been specifically through procurement both in the single European market and in the EU’s role in ensuring member state compliance with their public procurement agreements within the World Trade Organisation. The second has been through the public value constructs that are imbued within the EU’s approach to public policy. This chapter discusses these issues and their likely impact on British public policy after Brexit.
