Abstract
Throughout Europe, countries are having to face the prospect of declining professional expertise, competence and experience. This paper looks specifically at the problems facing public-sector technical administration in Denmark and describes a new knowledge management (KM) project that has now been established. The KM system enables its users to share know-how and experience on various topics within the public technical sector. The paper outlines the system and shares the experiences to date.
