Abstract

Maros district is a district located in the province of South Sulawesi at Indonesia. Based on data as of 6 April 2020, the largest number of people after the city of Makassar and Gowa Regency were affected by the covid-19 outbreak was in Maros district, both in the status of ODP(Supervision), PDP(Patient Supervision) and Positive Covid-19. Currently in Maros Regency the number recorded per 6 April 2020 ODP 109 people, PDP 4 people, positive 11 people, 1 person healthier. The Maros district government has provided a web page that can provide information and education to the public about preventing the spread of covid-19. The purpose of this study was to survey public responses to the Information and Education System to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 on the Maros distrist Government Website. n knowing the benefits of the Maros district government website regarding information and education systems to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to the community, the survey was conducted based on a questionnaire filled out by respondents, respondents are residents of Maros district. The questionnaire was made in the form of a google form consisting of 10 questions and distributed through social media and special groups from Maros Regency with a total of 100 respondents who had filled out the questions. The results of the study are based on the results of the questionnaire level of community response to information and education systems to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on the Maros district government website page as much as 81.25%. The community stated that it was very useful with information and education to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak on the Maros district website.
