Abstract

This article discusses public diplomacy as practiced via the medium of television current affairs programs. The article stems from the remarks made by the author at a panel session in Dresden, Germany, on “Media and Transatlantic Relations,” sponsored by The Claus M. Halle Institute for Global Learning.
