Abstract
Symphysis pubis diastasis is an uncommon complication of delivery. Computerized tomography, pelvic X-ray and perineal ultrasonography as well as clinical findings can be used in diagnosis. Conservative treatment consisting of bed rest and analgesics is helpful in most patients and functional recovery is excellent. We present a case of pubic symphysis diastasis following spontaneous vaginal delivery. Imaging findings, clinical features and management methods were discussed under the view of literature.
