Abstract
ObjectiveTo psychometrically validate the WHODAS 2.0 12-item version in a heterogeneous sample of employed adults with disabilities.DesignA quantitative research design using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and concurrent validity analysis.Participants284 employed persons with disabilities participated in this study.ResultsTwo factors, Higher Order Functioning and Activities of Daily Living, were identified in the EFA. Relevant psychosocial variables were found to correlate with the two factors in the expected directions.ConclusionThe WHODAS 2.0 12-item version appears to have a two-factor structure when used to measure disability impact in employed individuals with disabilities.
