Abstract

Patients with epilepsy (PWE) are at higher risk of developing an anxiety disorder than the general population. The prevalence rate of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in PWE is about 10% (Scott et al., 2017). The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) has been translated into numerous languages, and some versions were found to be a valid screening tool for detecting GAD in PWE. However, the screening properties of the Russian version of the GAD-7 in PWE have not been investigated yet. We aimed to investigate the Russian version of GAD-7 as a GAD screening tool in PWE.
