Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of the psychological portrait of a juvenile offender and analyzes the factors that influence the formation of juvenile delinquency in adolescents. The basis of this study was the rapid growth of juvenile delinquency, and, accordingly, this age period was studied, its characteristics and features in order to prevent an increase in the percentage of juvenile delinquency. Nowadays, juvenile delinquency is developing very rapidly. the statistics of the judicial system evidenced this as at the end of the 2017 reporting period there are 2,500 proceedings against juveniles. Adolescence is characterized by the variety of changes that are presented in every area of development. It is during this period that the so-called transition from the type of "childadult" relationship to new communication. The formation of juvenile delinquency is affected by the environment (family, school, friends), the level of moral and legal socialization and the level of intellectual development. Also motivational, emotional and volitional spheres of an individual, the previous stages of development or deviations are important, as all these data constitute a psychological portrait of juvenile offenders, that is becoming more and more consistent with statistics every year in Ukraine. Juvenile offenses are mostly of a group nature, because in this way, teenagers are looking for a circle of communication, understanding. If a person enters an organization it is quite difficult to get out of it independently.
