Abstract

The dentist's personality, the patient's attitude and temperament, the carefully planned presentation of the case, a careful introduction to the partial dentures, a conscientious discussion of the possible problems that the patient will face, followed by relatively detailed instructions on how to cope with the problems, an instruction sheet to re-emphasize the points, and a carefully scheduled follow-up series of appointments following the insertion of the partial dentures, will resolve most of the problems for most of the patients for whom partial dentures are constructed.
