Abstract

Τhe skin retains the ability to respond to endogenous and exogenous stimuli. It also plays a vital role in maintaining both physical and mental health. As a result, children are likely to externalize any negative skin reaction. Moreover, children with chronic illnesses and skin symptoms present mental disorders in their interpersonal relationships. Understanding all these aspects and then, the treatment of the symptoms and skin disorders, could be particularly beneficial for children.

Introduction
