Abstract

One of the most important and resonant themes in contemporary psychology is psycho-emotional well-being. The new social realities in which we live affects in a negative way mental health and causes anxiety, depression, stress and a deterioration of psycho-emotional well-being. The article presents an experimental study of psycho-emotional well-being in adolescence in the context of new social realities. As results we established that a large number of adolescents are living a continuous state of unhappiness (57,50%). For boys is more characteristic unhappiness than for girls. For early and middle adolescence are particular a high level of unhappiness.
