Psychiatry’s Duty: Shifting Attitudes toward the Mentally Ill among Pre-clinical and Clinical Students

Abstract

Objective This study examined second-year medical students’ attitude change toward mental illness during a psychopathology course and whether attitudes of third-year medical students toward mental illness change after direct exposure to the mentally ill during a psychiatry clerkship.
