Abstract

BackgroundThe article occupies a halfway point between meta-psychological investigations and gender deconstructions. It aims at questioning the relevance of queer theories for the practice of the clinical practice of psychoanalysis. ObjectivesWe attempt to show the articulation between two fields of investigation of the body and sexuality in order to establish the need for a constructive meeting between the disciplinary fields convened. The article insists on the relevance of queer theories in order to continue to practice psychoanalytic clinic in an ethical way, either in connection with the political reality and the discriminations encountered by LGBTIQ++ minorities. MethodThe method used involves a systematic comparison of a few essential references in both fields. ConclusionFar from any pious reconciliation, the article wishes to demonstrate the need for a dialogue in order to account for the ethics at work in psychoanalytic praxis.
