Abstract
A description is presented of PSUBOT (Portland State University roBOT)-a computerized electric wheelchair commanded by voice. The general description of the existing version is presented: control algorithms, navigation, and human interface. Also discussed are the basic principles of the new version under development, which will include computer vision. >
