Abstract
Transmission Power Control(TPC) is a key technique in wireless networks.In this paper,A Power control and Scheduling scheme in Multi-Rate wireless mesh network(PSMR) was introduced to improve the throughput and the fairness in the context of multi-rate Wireless Mesh Network(WMN).Traffic patterns of the system were analyzed based on a model of conflict graph,and a differential evolution based algorithm was proposed to optimize the time allocation vector.The simulation results demonstrate that PSMR can improve the throughput and also can strike a balance between throughput and fairness.
