Abstract
The taxonomy of Psigraptus species is reviewed, and the development of the rhabdosome is confirmed on the basis of Psigraptus jacksoni from the Mungok Formation of the Yeongwol area, Korea. Five genera erected in Chinese papers are here synonymised with Psigraptus, which contains only two species, P. jacksoni and P. arcticus (=P. lenzi). The development of the Psigraptus rhabdosome has been uncertain since the genus was erected, because of its fragile and easily deformed features; based on three-dimensionally well-preserved specimens of Psigraptus from the Yeongwol area, the genus has two first-order stipes, with subsequent isograptid development.
