Abstract

AbstractA case of β–δ thalassaemia and pseudoxanthoma elasticum without angioid streaks is reported. To the best of our knowledge, this association has not been reported previously. The possible pathogenic mechanisms of pseudoxanthoma elasticum in relation to chronic hemolytic diseases are discussed.
