Abstract

Based on the Dirac equation, we discuss the exactpseudospin symmetry and some examples are presented. For harmonicoscillator potential there exist bound states under the condition of theexact pseudospin symmetry, Vs + Vv = 0, and even usual intruder orbitswill have degenerated pseudospin partners. Apart from the harmonicoscillator potential, a Woods-Saxon potential is introduced to eliminatethe redundant degeneracies due to the speciality of harmonic oscillatorpotential except the pseudospin degeneracy.
