Abstract

Inductive storage devices (IS) have several technical and electrical properties, which make them attractive for usage in pulsed power engineering for purpose generation of nanosecond high power pulses. The purpose of the developed technology is to achieve needed value relation times flowing and breaking of current 107-108 with high power. The technology consists of three connected parts. The first part is a combined opening switch consists of plasma opening switch and vacuum breaker integrated in a single volume. The second part is a circuit of current zero break or pseudo opening switch and a circuit of storage and a load matching. The concept of general circuit and stages of combined opening switch action and a circuit of current zero break based on interception of magnetic flow are considered in this paper. (3 pages)
