Abstract

To the Editor: Dermatomyositis (DM) is an autoimmune disease associated with high rates of disability and mortality. It is characterized by distinct cutaneous rashes and muscle inflammation, with potential internal organ involvement.1 In addition to the classic DM-associated cutaneous manifestations, novel findings, such as seborrheic dermatitis–distributed rash, have been reported.2 We investigated the cutaneous manifestations of DM in large clinical samples and found that pseudoangioedema in DM is uncommon but clinically significant.
