Abstract
Development of pseudoaneurysm is due to either initial injury or is a complication of internal fixation of the femoral fracture [1]. This is a rare, serious but preventable complication following proximal femoral fracture [7]. We present an unusual case of pseudoaneurysm of medial branch of profunda femoris artery 2 months following osteosynthesis of proximal femoral fracture. The pseudoaneurysm was treated by endovascular embolisation.
