Abstract

Endogenous hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia is a rare but serious complication of gastric bypass surgery occurring from a few months up to 8 years after surgery. A 50 year old woman developed frequent severe hypoglycaemic episodes with loss of consciousness usually one hour after meal 4 months after succesfull laparoscopic roux-eny gastric bypass (RYGB).
