Abstract

To investigate the development of non-uniform deformation behavior of material, uniaxial tensile test of polycrystalline pure copper specimen was carried out. The specimen with different grain sizes were prepared by controlling annealing condition. To cause the non-uniform deformation to the specimen curved gage section was given. Strain field was evaluated by digital image correlation method. Grain size influenced the development of non-uniform deformation.
