Abstract
Premature ejaculation is the widespread sexual disorder. Current treatment options include SSRI pills or selective dorsal penile neurotomy (SPN). SPN is an effective treatment mode. However, loss of sensation could be complication of this surgery. Hence, we have to find method of temporary or reversible penile denervation. Cryosurgery of peripheral nerves widely used for treatment of chronic pain. Duration of analgesic effect after cryosurgery 6 - 18 months. Thereby, cryosurgery of dorsal nerve of the penis could be perspective treatment mode. 12 patients participated in study (22 - 31 years old). Inclusion criteria were positive test with topical anesthetics and presence of premature ejaculation (self-reported). Intravaginal Ejaculation Latency Time was 1.5 - 3.5 min (average IELT was 2 min 37 sec). Premature Ejaculation Symptoms Score was 25. All patients undergone cryosurgery of both dorsal penile nerves. Operation technique was similar to SPN, but we didn't cut nerves. We performed three frost-defrost circles in each nerve (1 min each circle). We used special needle-like cryoprobe, intended for peripheral nerves cryosurgery.
