Abstract

The article present sthesubject of the preparation of educational officers to counteract the social pathologies behaviour in the military environment. Based on own research and the available literature on the subject, an attempt was made to analyze the scope of professional and social competences, including the desirable features that a soldier of the educational corps should have in order to effectively prevent pathologies in the environment. In addition, the criteria for the selection of candidates for educational officers were analyzed as well as the directions of preparing them to counteract social pathologies in the 21st century army.
