It is important to protect children from violence and to raise awareness of the symptoms of abuse. It is important to be aware of the symptoms that may indicate sexual abuse of a child. If they occur in the form of physical injuries, STDs are likely to be diagnosed only by medical services. The cooperation of gynecologists with dermatologists, forensics, paediatricians, as well as psychologists and nutritionists is important here – therefore, holistic (interdisciplinary) cooperation for children. The problem of violence against a child is also part of the philosophical issue of human pain and suffering in general.
