Abstract

Peach tree pollen (PTP) is responsible for the induction of respiratory and ocular symptoms in a population exposed to peach cultivars, with great relevance in occupational allergy. In its allergenic profile, several high molecular mass proteins with significant IgE recognition were described. In order to deepen into these allergens, the main objective was the purification, identification and verification of the allergenic capacity of the 46 kDa band protein.
