Abstract

Abstract The Wuppertal exhibition Pörtner & Wühr: Spuren des Original-Ton-Hörspiels zwischen Wuppertal und München, which was shown from November 2022 to January 2023 in the University Library of Wuppertal represented an attempt to provide an insight into the production workshop of two pioneers of original tone radio plays, Paul Pörtner (1925–1984) and Paul Wühr (1927–2016). Selected handwritten and typewritten documents from the bequests of the two authors made the genesis and production aesthetics vivid. The analogue exposition was complemented by a media station that offered an additional digital exhibition space for in-depth exploration.
