Abstract

AbstractA non‐statistical analogue of PAP, [poly(N‐acryloylpyrrolidine)], which can be used in peptide synthesis, is easily prepared by reaction of hexanediamine on chemically inert polyacrylic resin. It is shown that its functionalisation number depends upon the degree of cross‐linking in the chemically starting inert resin; swelling properties are slightly dependent upon the nature of the substituents present in the base acrylamide unit.
