Provision of property and cold strength uniformity with the falling weight test in coiled and sheet rolled product of steel Kh70 from a 2000 mill

Abstract

A metallurgical basis is developed for providing a high set of properties of coiled rolled product, including with the falling weight test (FWT), on the basis of retaining the developed condition of austenite after controlled rolling applied to actual production conditions in a 2000 mill, including with small rolling ratios. In CherMK Severstal production has been successfully proven for coiled and sheet rolled product of steel Kh70 16 mm thick with a property guarantee with the FWT.
