Abstract
The protrusion of androconial organs of Lycorea halia atergatis Doubleday [1847] is reported herein. Androconial setae are inserted in the intersegmental membrane between the 8th tergite and the male genitalia. The butterfly species is typically found in cloud forests along the central mountains of Veracruz, Mexico.
