Abstract

This study aims to determine, describe the development strategy of UMKM in Bantaeng Regency and the sustainability of UMKM as one of the tourism industries. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, while the data collection method is carried out by documentation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that first, the strategy implemented by the government in maintaining the sustainability of UMKM in Bantaneng Regency was by providing a stimulus for capital assistance to 90 UMKM actors and conducting training and assistance in order to improve product quality. Second, the presence of new tourist objects in Bantaeng Regency is directly proportional to the emergence of UMKM in Bantaeng Regency
