Abstract

Differential cross sections for proton scattering on $^{100}\mathrm{Mo}$ and $^{112}\mathrm{Cd}$ have been measured at ${E}_{\mathrm{p}}=51$ MeV. The data are analyzed by coupled channels calculations, with coupling amplitudes taken from the interacting boson approximation. Information on transition potentials is obtained. The reliability of the method is discussed.[NUCLEAR REACTIONS Proton scattering on $^{100}\mathrm{Mo}$ and $^{112}\mathrm{Cd}$; ${E}_{\mathrm{p}}=51$ MeV; enriched targets.
