Abstract

A 36-year-old morbidly obese woman with a 10-year history of GERD treated with daily dexlansoprazole presented for endoscopic evaluation of refractory reflux symptoms. EGD revealed multiple medium-sized pedunculated polyps in the gastric body and innumerable large pedunculated polyps in the fundus (A). There were also a few erythematous-appearing polyps, primarily in the gastric body, which had a stigmata of bleeding, but there were no signs of active or recent bleeding (A). Other than a medium-sized sliding hiatal hernia, the rest of the examination showed normal results.
